Pick up from your hotel and morning departure to Sardes; the capital of ancient Lydia. The 2nd-century AD Marble Court of the Hall of the Imperial Cult complex has been extensively restored, as has been the huge, rich Roman synagogue View the significant ruins of the acropolis. Visit the Temple of Cybele and Diana which later became a church. See the golden river Pactalos and the Royal Road. Then visit the reconstructed Synagogue, the Gymnasium and the new excavation area. The city, which Herodotus from Izmir, who has the title of the father of history, described as the "golden city", is a city worth seeing, renowned as the beauty center of the Ancient Age. Drive to Izmir for lunch and visit the Bet Israel Synagogue and Dario MORENO street. Return to your hotel after the tour. Drop off at your hotel. (L)
