DAY 01
IZMIR – PERGAMON - CANAKKALE

Morning pick up from your hotel and drive to Pergamon which represents the outstanding example of urban planning of the Hellenistic period with its monumental architecture. Walk around outstanding masterpieces of the Roman Period. Visit the Acropolis, the Temple of Athena, the steepest theatre of the Hellenistic period, the famous Library, the Royal Palaces, the Temple Of Trojan, the Temple Of Dionysos, the Altar Of Zeus (Seat of Satan), which has been accepted as one of the wonders of the world, and the view of the Red Basilica (St. John’s church). Lunch in town. Visit the ruins of Asclepion which is one of the most important health centers of the period and represents an important step in the history of mankind. Proceed to your hotel after the tour. Overnight in Canakkale. (L, D)

DAY 02
CANAKKALE – TROY – ISTANBUL

Pick up from your hotel and early morning departure to Troy, the site of King Priam and the Trojan Horse. Troy is an ancient city located in the heart of nature in province Çanakkale, northwestern Turkey.  It was made famous in Homer’s epic poem, the Iliad. According to Homer’s Iliad, this is where the legendary Trojan War took place. During a walking tour, learn about the famous archaeological site of Troy and see a replica statue of the Trojan Horse. Troy has in fact nine cities superimposed one upon another. Troy Vl pertains to the famous Trojan War of Homer where the legendary heroes including Agamemnon, Achilleus, Ulysses, Nestor, Priamus, Hector and Paris. During the tour seeing the ancient walls of Troy and climbing around its ruins, and gazing across the Troad towards the waters of the Dardanelles and the hills of Gallipoli with tour guide is an indescribable experience for our visitors.  Proceed to Istanbul after the tour.
