DAY 01
IZMIR – EPHESUS – PAMUKKALE

Pick up from your hotel or Izmir airport and leave for Ephesus, which was an ancient port city whose well-preserved ruins are in modern-day Turkey. Visit the House of Virgin Mary which is one of the pilgrimage for Christians where she had her recently time and died. This place seen as veritable cradle of early Christianity. Proceed to Ephesus which was once considered the most important Greek city and the most important trading center in the Mediterranean region. See the spectacular ruins from the period of St. Paul Church where Apostle John spent his final years and he was buried. See the Odeon, the Bouleterion, Fountains, the Temples, the Brothel, the Library, the Agoras, the Great Theatre where is one of the biggest with 24.000 people capacity, the Roman Baths, the Gymnasiums. After lunch visit the Archaeological Museum, the Temple of Artemis (one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world). You will get an amazing experience in which you will deeply experience the most glorious periods of the Hellenistic and Roman eras. Proceed to your hotel after the tour. Overnight in Pamukkale. DAY 02
PAMUKKALE – HIERAPOLIS – APHRODISIAS – IZMIR

Drive to Pamukkale (the cotton castle) an unreal landscape, made up of mineral forests, petrified waterfalls and a series of terraced basins See the wonderful formations of the travertine and watch the cataracts falling into basins at the bottom of the mountain.  The ruins of the baths, temples and other Greek monuments you will see at the site. At the end of the 2nd century B.C. the dynasty of the Attalids, the kings of Pergamon, established the thermal spa of Hierapolis . Walk around the ancient city Hierapolis, the Monument and Thermal Baths also relax in the hot springs of Hierapolis. See the architectural genius of the Theatre, the magnificently well preserved Necropolis and the world wide famous "Devil’s Hole". Year-round swimming possibility in the natural hot spring pool. Then proceed to Aphrodisias  which was the site of a magnificent Temple of Aphrodite and the home of a renowned school of marble sculpture. Visit one of the largest ancient Theaters in the world, the Odeon, Bishop’s Palace, Stadium, well-preserved Temple of Aphrodite and the Museum with the gorgeous reliefs and statues of the sculptors of Aphrodisias. You will have a wonderful trip experience in Pamukkule with its deep-rooted history, cultural structure and unique natural beauties Return to Izmir after the tour.
