DAY 01
IZMIR – PAMUKKALE (HIERAPOLIS)

Pick up from your hotel or Izmir airport and drive to Pamukkale (the cotton castle) an unreal landscape, made up of mineral forests, petrified waterfalls and a series of terraced basins See the wonderful formations of the travertine and watch the cataracts falling into basins at the bottom of the mountain.  The ruins of the baths, temples and other Greek monuments you will see at the site. At the end of the 2nd century B.C. the dynasty of the Attalids, the kings of Pergamon, established the thermal spa of Hierapolis . Walk around the ancient city Hierapolis, the Monument and Thermal Baths also relax in the hot springs of Hierapolis. See the architectural genius of the Theatre, the magnificently well preserved Necropolis and the world wide famous "Devil’s Hole". There is the opportunity to swim in the natural hot spring pool throughout the year. You will have a wonderful trip experience in Pamukkule with its deep-rooted history, cultural structure and unique natural beauties. Proceed to your hotel after the tour. Overnight in Pamukkale. DAY 02
PAMUKKALE – APHRODISIAS – IZMIR

Drive to Aphrodisias  which was the site of a magnificent Temple of Aphrodite and the home of a renowned school of marble sculpture. Visit one of the largest ancient Theaters in the world, the Odeon, Bishop’s Palace, Stadium, well-preserved Temple of Aphrodite and the Museum with the gorgeous reliefs and statues of the sculptors of Aphrodisias. You will have a wonderful trip experience in Pamukkule with its deep-rooted history, cultural structure and unique natural beauties. Return to Izmir after the tour. Drop off at your hotel or Izmir airport. (B, L)
